As an internationally published artist based in Amsterdam, Domin Meinema is specialized in documentary photography.

With a focus on equality, she seeks beauty in places we least expect it. What do you know about love stories in the slums, happiness in the rain and wealthy men with zero euros on their bankaccounts? Have you seen the survival urge of anorexia patients? The faith in our society that refugees show us?

With that focus, Domin raises awareness too. Not with a biased opinion about what’s right or wrong, but with curiosity and an open mind. Pictures have been featured in magazines and newspapers including Happinez, Algemeen Dagblad, Runner’s World, Viva, Ouders van Nu, OneWorld, Het Parool, Viva, Metro and Zin.
